Whitetail Hunts

4-D RANCH
Comanche, Texas

    Total Outdoor Adventures is the exclusive outfitter for the beautiful 4-D Ranch in Comanche, Texas. The 2001 season was our first year to commercially hunt this ranch and we were extremely pleased with the results of the intense management of the property. Our 2001 harvest was intentionally limited and we took only three trophy bucks, two of which scored in excess of 160 B&C points. We also harvested five management 8 point bucks, all of which scored in the low 130 B&C range. Our buck to doe ratio is at 1.3 does per buck and we culled in excess of 80 doe in the last part of the season.

    This season will find an excellent crop of 5-8 year old bucks that have been steadily improving in trophy quality with each season on this well-managed, high fenced property. Every deer on the ranch was born and raised here, and make no mistake, this is a fair chase hunt for wild, true trophy class Whitetails. You will see an average of 20+ bucks a day and your guide will assist you in every possible way to ensure you collect your buck on this safe, fun, exciting and no surprises hunt. I will be offering two separate whitetail hunts this season on the 4-D, both of which will include:

                          * 1x1 guide service
                          * Three (3) full days of hunting
                          * Meals and lodging
                          * One (1) Whitetail doe
                          * Field care, caping and cold storage of your trophy

Whitetail Management Hunt  $2500
This hunt is for any mature 8 point Whitetail that we estimate at 4 1/2 years or older. There are some fantastic management bucks on this property that most hunters would consider a true trophy Whitetail. Our hunters consistently take 8 point bucks that score between 130"-145" B&C points on this hunt.

Whitetail Trophy Hunt  $4500
This hunt is for any buck on the ranch scoring up to 150 B&C points. Bucks scoring more than 150 B&C points will cost $100 per inch, on top of the $4500 fee. (Example: a 160 B&C buck will cost $5500). This is very much in-line or well below what many comparative quality ranches offer price-wise. If you are interested in a memorable hunt that offers a great opportunity for a buck you'll never forget, this is your hunt.

Whitetail  Doe Hunt  $150/each
Per recommendations from our wildlife biologist, we need to remove a certain number of doe from the ranch each year to keep our buck to doe ratio where we want it. These doe hunts are a great way to introduce new or younger hunters to the sport of hunting. Not only will you see lots of doe, but some awesome whitetail bucks as well. Limited availability, early booking is recommended.
We offer a no kill, no pay guaranty on all doe hunts.

Exotic Game Hunts  (Prices Vary Per Animal)
We have a limited number of exotic game species that can be harvested in conjunction with our whitetail hunting operation or as a stand alone hunt. There are several record book quality animals on the ranch including Aoudad, Axis, Sika, Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow, Scimitar Horned Oryx and Elk. Most of the trophy class exotic game animals taken on these hunts will be in the $1500-3500 range. Contact us for more details or for fees on specific animals.

    This is a remarkable ranch with top guides for trophy fair chase deer. A $1000 deposit books your hunt, and the dates will be on a first come basis.
