My company, Total Outdoors Adventures, has formed a partnership with
one of South Africa’s premier professional hunters and safari
operators, J.P. Kleinhans of J.P. Kleinhans Safaris.
Unlike many South African ‘package safaris’ who operate on
one property, J.P. Kleinhans operates lodges and hunting concessions
from the Eastern Cape to the Zimbabwe border to the North, giving our
hunting guests the opportunity to hunt over 30 species of big game
while enjoying a diversity of habitat and geographical locations few
safari companies can provide. Our world-class plains game
safaris are the perfect choice for a first safari or for the veteran
African hunter looking for superior service and record book quality
game.
We offer both rifle and bow hunting concessions and guarantee 80% of
all trophies taken to make the SCI record books.
Over the last three safari seasons, we have a 92% record book
entry rate! Ideal time for our
safari hunts is March 1st through October 1st (South African autumn
and winter).
I have personally averaged two months per season with J.P. in the
field during the last four years assisting with clients and
videotaping our award-winning Safari Classics video series featuring
J.P. and our clients. I am a
veteran safari client with a great deal of time spent in both East
Africa and South Africa and I rate J.P. as the most professional, as
well as most enjoyable professional hunter I have
ever shared a safari with.
My staff will arrange your trip from airline reservations to the safe
arrival of your trophies to your home or taxidermist of your choice.
We also have an award-winning, museum quality taxidermist on
staff at our base camp in Port Elizabeth. Our goal is, has been, and
will continue to be to provide you the very best safari experience in
